Comparison of a Vaulter on FiberSport Hybrid & PRO Pole based on most all things equal on each jump other than what is noted: Grip same 11'6. Left bar at 11'6" Right side 12.' The left pole is FiberSport HC 12'7 "-150 right side is FiberSport Pro 12'7 "-155
The important thing to focus on is the pole's bend curvature & its design. The engineered design of the HC gives the vaulter more roll-over & time to get in the proper position, The vault on the right side looks like a pole is too soft, yet this is not the case; the design of the pole on the right is for vaulter's who are already mastering a pole over their grip by at least 12'. This pole is not timed to this vaulter's ability & returns too fast to not allow the vaulter to be in the best position to get the full ride. Thus, she is thrown toward the bar. If you are not jumping on a pole 10 to 20 lbs. over your weight & pushing at least 12" over your grip, the Faster design will look like it is a BLOW THRU. Going to a 12'7-155 HC has been a success for her going forward!
