The most decorated pole vaulter in American history, Sam Kendricks, is joining pole vaulting pole brand FiberSport. No other American vaulter has medaled in more Games, more World Championships, or won more USA National titles. Kendricks is the apex American pole vaulter. In partnering with FiberSport, Kendricks comes full circle, returning to the top pole designer that helped him propel his career. Over a decade ago, designer Bruce Caldwell produced custom performance poles that fit Kendricks’s vaulting style and needs. What followed was a perfect fit. Consistently in the world rankings, Kendricks established his dominance in the event for over a decade.
Meanwhile, Caldwell has continued to design specialty poles for top vaulters worldwide and later founded a custom pole company, FiberSport, to serve all pole vaulters, from youth to elite.
Sam says, “ Most of my best jumps were on poles designed and made by Bruce Caldwell; it only made sense to work with Bruce Caldwell again to build great poles. His vision is my vision.”
